The primary mission of the Cultural Office of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait is to support the development of Kuwaits human resources, create diversity in educational opportunities and develop links between the educational and research institutions in Kuwait and those in the United States and Canada. The Cultural Office also seeks to promote the transfer of technology and ideas towards the advancement of Kuwaits institutions and people. Here at the Cultural Office we are committed to receiving, placing, counseling and advising Kuwaiti students who are attending universities and colleges in the United States and Canada. We conduct general supervisory activities to ensure the adjustment, care and well-being of Kuwaiti students and their families. The Cultural Office also seeks to initiate, promote and maintain links with appropriate universities as well as educational and research organizations. Scholarship students are assigned advisers in the Cultural Office for the duration of their studies. These advisers work with their counterparts at colleges and universities to respond to the ongoing educational and social needs of the students.
