Established in 1974, the Westside Community Schools Foundation raises money to provide enhanced educational opportunities to the students. It is a nonprofit foundation that has more than 25 members. The foundation supports various early childhood centers that serve over 250 preschool students. The Westside Community Schools Foundation also administers before- and after-school programs for nearly 800 students in kindergarten through grade six.
