Dia Art Foundation, established in 1974, is a nonprofit institution that initiates, supports, presents and preserves various art projects. It offers a variety of programs that include artists on artists lecture series, exhibition, film and video screenings and performances.It also provides a series of year-long temporary exhibitions as well as public programs, including monthly gallery talks, readings in contemporary literature, literary readings and community days for neighboring counties. It also offers arts educational program in various local schools. Dia Art Foundation provides publication programs that include books in conjunction with exhibitions, scholarly volumes, CDs and multimedia works. It also offers financial support to various art organizations, including the Chinati Foundation, the Roden Crater and Dream House, Cy Twombly Gallery and the Andy Warhol Museum. It is located in New York City.
