Fairview Odd Fellows Home of Connecticut is a nursing home and assisted living center. Its services include recreational activities, nursing care, rehabilitative care and clinical care. Originally built for senior members of the Odd Fellows Lodge, it is now open to all who share its vision of "freedom, love and truth."
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6573 is located at the intersection of Boston Post Road and Cross Road. The post serves as a bar and meeting place for veterans and their friends, as well as a common spot for fundraisers. Any veteran interested in joining the post is welcome to come down when it's open, the VFW is always looking for more members.
