Denise Vaught Ms. Denise Vaught is the founder, President, and CEO of Denise Vaught & Associates, PLLC; a consultant group and continuing education provider located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Denise Vaught has been employed in a variety of clinical, management, and consultant positions within the health care industry. Prior to working independently, she served as a Regional Director for a national health care corporation. She has extensive regulatory compliance experience and has previously been credentialed to act as a consultant for the American Accreditation Health Care Commission, URAC and surveyor for the NCQA / JCAHO Privacy Certification for Business Associates (PCBA) program. She is credentialed as a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) and a Certified Case Manager (CCM). She is active in a number of professional organizations. Ms. Vaught has been employed within the health care industry for more than 30 years, beginning her career in 1979 as a registered nurse. She received her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Louisvilles nationally recognized College of Business and Public Administration. Both her Bachelors and Masters degrees emphasized health care administration, health policy, and health law in addition to business management. Her academic training and professional background provide her with the knowledge, skills, and insights necessary to be effective in todays health care environment.
