The Mount Pleasant Library is a public library and a part of the Charelston County Public Library system. It offers e books for downloading, books, magazines, CD's, videos and DVDs. This branch features an auditorium and a conference room open for public use. The branch manager here is Cindy Schweinfest. This library offers color copying and printing for 25 cents each. Black and white copying and printing is offered here for 10 cents a page. There are computer work stations with MS Office. Established in 1973, the Taylors branch of the Greenville County Library provides area residents with an array of fun and educational services, including the lending of books and audio books, research database access through the library's computer systems, and free wireless Internet access. Additionally, the library works to promote a wealth of community-oriented programs, such as weekly book discussions, children's story time, educational demonstrations and more.
