The Omaha Home for Boys has been a leader in the field of child and youth care since 1920 and is committed to its Mission of supporting and strengthening youth and families. The Homes Residential Care program provides a safe, structured living environment in a cottage setting with caring House Parents, balanced meals and educational support for boys ages 10 18 years. Each year more than 100 boys are taught basic behavioral, disciplinary and living skills. All youth attend public school. Additionally, over 50 young men and women, ages 17 21, who have aged-out of group home programs can continue to receive help as they are taught how to live independently and transition into adulthood through the Homes Independent Living program. Further, over 150 boys annually, ages 14 18, receive psychiatric treatment with total family involvement to help them function successfully in society through the Homes Cooper Village program. JOURNEYS, a substance abuse treatment program designed specifically for youth ages 12 19 years was developed in conjunction with Catholic Charities and Child Savings Institute. The highly structured program includes individual, family and group therapy, physical and therapeutic recreation, school and life skills training. The Home accepts youth of all ethnic and religious backgrounds from around the country, with the majority coming from Nebraska and surrounding states. Placement can be made privately, through human service agencies or the court system. The Omaha Home for Boys is a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) charitable organization and is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children ( COA ).

About Omaha Executives Association, formed in 1924 is a prestigious network of the areas top business leaders. The beginnings of Executives Association date back to 1916 when the first Association was formed in San Francisco, California. Member firms represent an exclusive classification based on their main products or services, with which no other member can compete. Its owner, CEO, key manager, or top decisionmaker represents each members firm. Membership classifications are defined and maintained. Every effort is made to provide each business with an exclusive classification. Only one business per classification is permitted to join. Each member must be dependable and willing to provide high quality goods and services. Omaha Executives Association is an organization of business owners and executives whose sole interest is to increase the sales of goods and services of its members through the exchange of business information, networking and leads. The main purpose of the association is to exchange business leads. The members share a common objective of improving sales, enhancing quality of service, and maintaining a market presence in the community. The members practicing high business standards and ethics accomplish this. The association provides its members with business opportunities that may not otherwise have been available. The members have access to: Members meet weekly for a luncheon on Thursdays at Regency Lodge. During this meeting, members have the opportunity to share leads regarding business opportunities that may be of interest to another member. In addition, each member is provided a listing of leads that have been submitted to Omaha Executives Association ( OEA ) office each week. A member is scheduled to give a craft talk each week. Usually the speaker is an OEA member. The opportunity to give a craft talk during the luncheon allows a member to present and to promote his or her business to the membership.

The Greater Omaha Economic Development Council represents an eight-county metro area and offers a full range of consultative services, such as current data on available sites and buildings, manpower availability, wage rates and productivity levels, and energy rates and availability.
