Phillips Park is a busy youth athletic site with two baseball fields, two basketball fields and sports lighting. There is also a 1/4 mile paved trail on the site.
In Westfield since 1986, Gymboree Play & Music is a children's gym that offers classes for kids up to 5 years old. The gym was previously located at Broad Street but shifted to Central Avenue since 1992. This members-only gym offers weekly classes, open gym times and developmental play program lesson plans for seven different age groups. It is also open for children with special needs. Kidville is a large, upscale recreational facility designed for children. It features a safe and fun play area, offering age-appropriate art, music, gym and enrichment classes in for newborns and children up to age six. Kidville also offers birthday parties for children up to the age of nine, summer camp programs, a pre-school alternative program and other seasonal family events.
Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park is a 38-acre beach park on the Long Branch waterfront. The park's beaches offer swimming, surfing and sun for visitors and locals alike. The beach also offers showers, bathrooms, sheltered eating areas and snack bars. Beach access requires daily, weekly or seasonal passes.
Victory Park is located at the end of Lafayette Street, off River Road, in Rumson. It is a waterfront park featuring a newer playground, as well as a restored bandstand. It also has two tennis courts and a basketball court, all with lighting, as well as a bocce court and seating areas overlooking the Navesink River.
