This open-design Publix store is clean and easily accessible with two large electronic doors at both entrances. The aisles are extra wide and its very high ceiling creates an airiness that's quite pleasant. Ambient music sets a pace for enjoyable shopping and the deli and bakery are located to the right, past the entrance. The deli and bakery section leads into the fruit and vegetable section, which is towards the back of the store. A refill station for cold drinks is available in the deli. The cashiers stations are conveniently located on the left side near the front of the store and are situated away from the path of the entrances, which helps to keep the flow of traffic always moving. A Publix liquor store is attached to this building and sells wine, beer and liquor. The liquor store is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 9pm and on Sunday from 11am to 7pm.

Publix was founded in 1930, and is the largest and fastest-growing employee-owned supermarket chain in the United States. This Publix is located in the Brooker Creek Plaza on the east side of East Lake Road, in the same plaza as the Varsity Club. Publix is known for their fresh produce and meats.  This store is organized well run and has a friendly, helpful staff. It has a pharmacy, bakery, sushi department, deli, and a nice floral department. For your convenience they offer money orders, a coin counting machine and an ATM.
