The Taylor Elementary School has a rich history in town. The school was named after Charles G. Taylor, in honor of his longtime commitment to the Foxborough public school system. The school was built in 1966 and currently serves more than 300 students. Principal Peter Regan is proud to serve the school and makes it his goal to maintain a safe learning environment for students.
"Communication and collaboration" is a top priority of the school. The school believes that bridging the gap between parents, students and faculty makes for a productive learning environment.
The Mabelle M. Burrell Elementary School, named after Mabelle Burrell in dedication of her passion for education, prides itself on maintaining a "strong curricular program." Students are able to participate in additional classes such as music, health and world language. The Burrell School has woven itself into the fabric of the community by participating in the Each One Reach One Program and the Council on Aging Volunteer Program. Students are encouraged to give back to the town through events that support the "Discretionary Fund and other charitable organizations."
Perduco is an educational resource center. It offers homeschooling programs, tutoring and summer enrichment programs for students ranging in age from 9 to 18.
The John J. Ahern Middle School is located at 111 Mechanic Street. The principle of the school, Sue Abrams, endorses the 7 core values of the Foxborough Public School system. One important value of the school is to "respect diversity and dignity of individuals and cultures." The school provides a safe and friendly environment allowing for enriched learning and positive attitudes. It stays an active middle school by offering numerous clubs and educational opportunities to its students.
