The Pennfield School is an independent day school for boys and girls in Nursery to Grade 8.
Under the direction of Head of School Rob Kelley, The Pennfield School is located on 19 acres of property abutting the Aquidneck Island Land Trust's Sakonnet Greenway Trail and Glen Farm.

East Greenwich High School serves students in grades 9-12. It is regularly ranked as one of the highest performing public high schools in Rhode Island.
Located on Avenger Drive, the local public high school has been here since 1967. Last year, the high school underwent significant renovations, which added a new science lab, a new entrance and a new athletic field complex. There are 759 students and 76 teachers.
Joe Millitelo is the interim principal, and Michael Podraza is the vice principal.
Our Lady of Mercy School is a Catholic school that was founded in East Greenwich in 1950. Its students range from pre-kindergarten through the eighth grade. While many students are members of the parish, the school also welcomes children of other denominations.
Our Lady of Mercy School is affiliated with the parish, Our Lady of Mercy Church, and the Our Lady of Mercy Convent.
Happy Hearts Learning Center is a preschool located in East Greenwich. It offers an array of programs, including toddler classes, preschool programs, kindergarten enrichment and summer camps. Special arts and crafts programs are also run through Happy Hearts.
