Located along McKusick Road about 15 minutes northwest of downtown Stillwater, the Sawmill Golf Club has a semi-private course and offers open play, lessons, tournaments and leagues. The club has a variety of adult, family and youth membership packages that include unlimited play at Sawmill Golf Course and play at its sister course, Loggers Trail. From the black tees, Sawmill is a championship par 70 course.
At the St. Croix Valley Recreation Center you will find a 300 by 244 foot domed field house, two NHL-sized sheets of ice, an outdoor ice skating rink (in the winter) and soccer fields. The recreation center offers competitive youth soccer leagues, open hours to walk and run, adult hockey leagues, open skating, open hockey, group skating lessons and freestyle ice. The recreation center may also be used to host corporate gatherings, birthday parties, fundraisers and other special events.
Since 1982 Ron Resch has brought his equestrian background (and family links to many famous James J. Hill descendants) to the North Oaks Stable. Boarding, training and riding lessons are available. Classes and services are provided by Mr. Resch. Lessons and services are tailored to the rider or boarder's needs. Mr. Resch has been a competitive Minnesota State Fair Horse Show participant for many years; he's been on the back cover of the program since 1973. This stable is set on a pastoral 34 acres with historic structures, horsecraft and artifacts. Trusty yard dog Haley will greet your arrival, while Ron's wife Deb will coordinate your indoor riding needs at nearby Victoria Station.

Located along Otchipwe Avenue north of downtown Stillwater, Double H Stables combines a beautiful landscape with proximity to the heart of Stillwater and the larger Twin Cities metro area. The stables feature an indoor arena, 60 acres of land in the hills north of Stillwater, 35 heated stalls, a wash stall, a tack up area, lockers, an outdoor arena and many trails.

Applewood Hills Golf Course of Stillwater is an 18-hole par 62 golf course open to the public. It offers lessons and rentals for golfers of all skill levels. Located in an apple orchard, this is a unique golfing experience.
The Just for Me Spa is located just west of downtown Stillwater, on the corner of Myrtle and Greeley. They offer skincare, body, nail, and haircare treatments as well as a fitness center that is also part of the Just for Me business. Flying E Stables is located in the hills south of downtown Stillwater along 30th St N. It specializes in training, sales, and showing of horses. The main trainer has more than 25 years' experience in training horses. It offers a variety of training options, though it specializes in young and amateur riders and young horses. This is a public professional par-72 course that has a full pro shop, bar, restaurant and banquet facilities. There is an executive par-29 nine-hole course for those that want to warm up their skills. There is also a driving range and a putting green.
Described by management as a "fair but challenging" links-style course, StoneRidge Golf Club is ranked as one of the top public-access courses in the Twin Cities. From the black tees, you can play nearly 7,000 yards. The club is semi-private, meaning that though it is open most times for public access, memberships are available which afford special course privileges, including preferred tee times, pro shop discounts and locker room conveniences. Located just north of I-94 and east of Manning Road, the club features live entertainment in its newly remodeled Danny's Bar & Grill; the restaurant offers patio dining, weather-permitting.
