The Flying Change Stable offers lessons in riding and general horsemanship to any who wish to learn. Lessons can be part of a group or arranged privately. During the summer, a horse riding camp is available in weeklong blocks for kids and teens. A therapeutic riding program is also available for those who might benefit from positive reinforcement and animal companionship. Branscomb Farms is a fully-equipped stable and seventy-four acre horse ranch that buys, sells, breeds and shows horses. Jane Karol opened Bear Spot Farm in 1995. Jane is a psychologist who also teaches, coaches and competes as as an equestrian. There are more than 20 horses at Bear Spot Farm, which provides structured training programs for the horse as well as the rider. Dressage training is available from the beginner level to the competitive level.
Jane Karol established Bear Spot Foundation in 2004. This program provides children and adolescents with equine-assisted psychotherapy. This is an alternative therapeutic program where the horse acts a co-therapist to Jane, the psychotherapist. The program has been successful in helping many kids.
