Grace Music School is Long Island’s premier music school with two convenient locations in Western Suffolk County. Our Fort Salonga School, which started with only a few students when we opened in January 2012, is now training over 600 musicians every week through a variety of lessons including piano, strings, voice, guitar, percussion, and woodwind. Our newest location is at the Steinway and Sons piano showroom located in Melville. This school has the distinction of being the first-ever music school integrated into a Steinway owned showroom. We are extremely proud that our school was selected from among many fine and long-established schools on Long Island to operate a music school at this location. Our mission is to provide exceptional music education to students of all ages and cultivate a life-long love of music in a nurturing environment. Moreover, we seek to help students realize their potential not only as musicians, but in other important areas of life. In support of this, we provide our students with multiple performance opportunities throughout the year to allow them to demonstrate their new acquired musical skills and help motivate them to advance further. Among our performance opportunities are NYSSMA preparation recitals, which allow students to publicly perform their pieces in a friendly and supportive environment prior to the NYSSMA festival. Our performance venues include an intimate performance space at our Fort Salonga location, a beautiful concert space featuring a concert grand piano at the Steinway location and Carnegie Hall, where our most advanced and dedicated students can showcase their talents.
