Flying Horses Carousel is the oldest platform carousel in the nation and was built in 1876. The attraction was originally operated as a Coney Island ride and was acquired in the late 1980s. It is open during the summer time and only costs $2.00 per ride.
The Plymouth Visitors Information Center, located at the rotary across the street from Plymouth Harbor, contains a wealth of information and a very helpful staff to help you navigate your way around Plymouth.
At the Information Center, visitors may pick up brochures about attractions, restaurants, shopping, and lodging, find out the latest schedules on special events and pick up the Dining and Activities Guide which includes all of the great places in the area for shopping and dining.
The Center offers public restrooms and courtesy phones and is open from early Spring until the weekend after Thanksgiving.
