Sea Side Nursery School is a small, family-owned preschool that provides before and after school programs, from 6:30am to 5pm, for children ages three to six. Children can be enrolled at any time during the school year and for a special six-week summer program.
Children participate in arts and crafts and story time. They learn responsibility and good citizenship through an arts enriched program and personalized attention. Children also have the opportunity to participate in taking care of classroom pets to build responsibility.
For over fifty years, Silveira School has aimed to create a "superior" environment for its preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children to grow and develop. The School incorporates a learning program that integrates order with freedom and creativity to foster balanced mental and emotional growth in its students.
The School's curriculum is based on the Rhode Island Early Learning Standard and is approved by the State Department of Education.
Since the tiny shingled Oliphant School house was first erected in 1882, the busy corner of Oliphant Lane and West Main Road has long upheld the tradition of seeking high standards for public education in the Town of Middletown.
Today the Middletown Public School district sits adjacent to the historic schoolhouse, inhabiting the former Oliphant Elementary School next door along with the Newport County Regional Special Education Program.

Founded by the regionalization of the Bristol Warren School District in 1993, Kickemuit Middle School is a high-performance spotlight middle school. KMS serves approximately 800 students from Bristol and Warren in grades 6, 7 and 8.
The school offers a variety of clubs, sports and extracurricular activities, including Lego robotics, Young Mariners' boat building and a KIDS TV production studio for school announcements. The theater club also puts on multiple productions throughout the school year.
