The Museum Of Discovery provides a dynamic and interactive environment to develop a passion for science, technology and math in people. The museum caters to the needs of children, adults and senior citizens. It is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of membership packages. The Museum Of Discovery houses a range of kewpies, mummy coffins, multicultural masks and dolls, as well as more than 50 species of animals. The museum provides various items on a rental basis. It hosts birthday parties, corporate meetings, summer camps and outreach programs. The Museum Of Discovery also offers educational opportunities. The museum is a part of the Arkansas Museum of Science & History.

Established in 1960, the New Canaan Nature Center is a not-for-profit environmental education center and sanctuary offering visitors access to the study of nature, horticulture and related sciences. Based in New Canaan, Conn., the 40-acre site features habitat diversity, including wet/dry meadows, ponds, wet/dry woodlands, dense thickets, an old orchard and a cattail marsh offering a variety of horticultural experiences. Some of the facilities at the comprise an Interactive Discovery Room, the Animal Care Building, the Birds of Prey exhibit center, the Bliss Education Building and an Educational Annex House. The Birds of Prey exhibit features seven aviaries while the Educational Annex House houses the NCNC Preschool as well as classrooms for summer camp, birthday parties, scout programs and other social gatherings. Also open to the public are a teaching tropical greenhouse, maple syrup shed, naturalists garden, butterfly garden, wildflower garden and herb garden.

Founded in 1992, Stepping Stones Museum for Children is a private, nonprofit organization that offers hands-on exhibits and educational programs, as well as conducts special events and performances. The museum has a staff of more than 30 employees and over 225 adults and junior volunteers. It serves children and their parents, caregivers and educators. Stepping Stones Museum for Children is spread over an area of more than 10,000 square feet. The museum provides a variety of after-school and family programs. In addition, it operates a resource center. Stepping Stones Museum for Children is sponsored by individuals, corporations, foundations and government sources. The museum features a cafe and gift shop. It has received the Best Museum for Families award from the Westchester Family magazine. Through its partnership with health professionals, state agencies, schools and community organizations, the museum supports several community-based activities.
