The Children's Discovery Museum and the Science Discovery Museum are places for youngsters with participation activities for the parents and the kids exploring science theory. For kids under 10 and their caregivers, the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo is a hands-on science class. The zoo has more than 50 animal species including bobcats and hedgehogs, and the museum has 14 interactive exhibits to teach concepts like gravity and motion. It also hosts birthday parties in a private room for kindergarteners and up, and have educational programs for schools and community groups.
KidsWork Children's Museum is proud to be Will County's first and only children's museum. It has two floors full of fun and enriching activities for kids: Science In Action and Creativity Abounds. It also hosts private parties in its party and program room, which includes admission to the museum. Daily admission is $6, $5 for seniors.

It offers a range of activities and educational programs for kids, including language lessons and crafting ceramic tiles and bird house painting.
